Join GIANT’s Regional Nutritionist, Kilene Knitter, RD, LDN for a virtual presentation all about building balanced snacks and creating delicious, simple meals at home. We’ll also touch on meal planning basics, as well as review some of Kilene’s easy dinner recipes. We’ll leave time at the end for some Q&A too.

A comprehensive vegetable gardening talk with Dr. Bob Yoder. Subject matters covered will include: garden positioning and raised beds, intensive gardening techniques, companion plants, succession, and vertical planting, soil improvements, proper watering and seed planting techniques, fertilizers (organic and inorganic), seedlings (raising them, best transplant timing), seed saving, techniques to reduce diseases in the garden, global warming, and more. This talk will be very informative for the home vegetable gardener looking to start their own garden or improve what they are currently doing. We’ll include time for a break and Q&A in the middle of the class.

This will be a virtual program, conducted over Zoom. Details will be emailed to each participant.
